Sun Kissed Treehouse
Golf cart, Kayaks, Gas Grill
STUNNING VIEWS!!

Sunkissed Treehouse
12631 Hodgson Ave

The Sun Kissed Treehouse, located in a quiet residential neighborhood can be YOUR vacation spot. The sunny, relaxed, open living/dining/kitchen floor plan is the perfect area for guests to gather for coffee and plan the day over great views of the water in the comfort of the central air - or in the morning air out on the large deck in the shade of the oaks.

Plenty of room to park your boat.  You can trailer to the City Marina to put in - a short 2 miles to the public boat ramp, or golf cart into town, fish off the Cedar Key fishing pier, visit the shops, tour the museums and grab a bite to eat at the local restaurants.  Then come home to our nicely shaded corner lot as you unwind from your exhilarating day of fishing, boating or summer scalloping.

We offer all the amenities, including flat screen TV, wireless internet and a fully stocked kitchen including a Jenn-Aire grill.  Did you catch just "too much" for indoor cooking?  We have a gas grill on the deck, with table and chairs for the cooks. We also offer a golf cart for your stay, bicycles for your slow ambling around town, and kayaks (launch at the City Park, or numerous other places around Cedar Key).   We want you to enjoy all the natural wonders of Cedar Key, from the magnificent white pelican to the large variety of song birds.

Cedar Key is a small village, three miles into the Gulf of Mexico, two hours north of Tampa, three hours from Orlando and Jacksonville, and an hour from Gainesville.  We offer sweeping views of the real Florida, not the man-made attractions.  We celebrate the Glory of Nature.  During the summer months, you can scallop, fish for mackerel, tarpon, grouper, and closer to shore, whiting, redfish, and if you throw a cast net, catch a "mess of mullet".

Cedar Key is famous for our clams.  Farm raised, they have become the back bone of Cedar Keys’ economy, affording the working watermen and women of the area a living, and offering our visitors some of the finest and freshest seafood anywhere.  You can purchase fresh seafood to cook at home, from Robinson's, just nine miles from the house, or in Rosewood, or Southern Cross, located at #3 bridge.  We keep several cookbooks at the house, just ask us for ideas.

Don't feel like cooking?  Let the talented chefs of Cedar Key prepare your dinner.  From simple home cooked meals to elegant four course dinners, Cedar Key showcases the talent and variety of local cuisines.  We keep a notebook of menus and promise you will not have a bad meal in Cedar Key.

Please let us know if there is any way we can help you to enjoy your time with us !
