Welcome to our Cedar Key get away. Whether you come for the fishing, the sunsets, or the serenity, this IS the place you'll return to, time after time.

Our 2/1 home is perched on the quiet bend in the cul-de-sac, perched above Tyre Creek, with stunning views due west. Two docks for your boat, or for land based fishing, this is some of Cedar Key's best water access, with 4 feet of water at the end of the floating dick. While Cedar Key is tide dependent, and you may not always be able to reach deep water, you can ALWAYS fish at our home.
Decorated for the fisherman, with wooden fish, a montage of photos showing previous catch, lures, poles and fishing hats, there still is plenty of open space for the sun and water to bounce a reflection to entice your soul.

Two bedrooms and one bath, fully equipped, there is a washer/dryer in the walk in pantry off the fully equipped kitchen. Don't worry about being separated from the party, the kitchen has a pass through window, and everyone will want to see you fry today's catch.
Bring the boat and poles. Put in at the city ramp, and motor to one of the two docks. Good water access even during low tides, you'll need to learn the channel, but isn't that half the fun? Only 1000 feet to Goose Cove, you'll need to motor under Airport Bridge and then open Gulf, or go west, circle through Tyre Creek and be at the main channel in under 15 minutes. We've some of the best fishing around, just look at the photos in the house

Great spot for kids, they can fish off either dock, or bring the crab traps, there are plenty of blue crabs to catch!

Just 1.5 miles to downtown, bring the bikes, or while you are here, rent a golf cart and leave your cares behind. Cedar Key boasts many fine restaurants, numerous shops and galleries, a grocery store, a book store, rental boats, kayaks, guided boat AND fishing tours. We'll be happy to refer you to our friends in the community.

Cedar Key has a 2400 foot airstrip (FAA Identifier: CDK). Call the taxi as you start in, and stay for the weekend.

You won't get bored, we can promise you, but for quiet times we have plenty of books, a DVD and VHS player, and SUNSETS. There is no better place for sunset viewing in Cedar Key than OUR/YOUR porch. Stay for a while and enjoy the variety of colors. Marvel at the clouds catching color as the day wanes, sigh in contentment, then look forward to tomorrow's show.
